Enalapril oral is used alone or in combination with other medications to treat high blood pressure in adults and children at least 1 month old. Enalapril oral can also be used to prevent and treat congestive congestive heart failure in adults. Enalapril injection is used in adults to treat high blood pressure. Enalapril belongs to a class of medications called angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors. It works by decreasing certain chemicals that tighten the blood
