About David Tvildiani Medical University

David Tvildiani Medical University is located in Georgia’s capital Tbilisi. It was established in 1989 by the academician David Tvildiani – an outstanding cardiologist, and Dimitri Tvildiani – founder of the Modern Diagnostic Centres in NY.

» Application date : March to October every year 

» Invitation letter : 2-3 weeks

Main steps :

» Step 1: Students must complete out an online application form along with the necessary paperwork.

» Step 2: As soon as the university receives the application, it issues an offer letter. Students can put their fees into the university's bank account.

» Step 3: After 30 days, the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia delivers an accreditation letter to the students. Subsequently, the institution receives a ministry order and sends the students an invitation letter.

» Step 4: After the above process is finished, the approval of a visa takes 30 days.

Accommodation

The university has provided 4 student hostels on campus. They are separated for males and females. The rooms have modern furniture and are cleaned by caretakers. There are common facilities for all the students, like gaming and TV rooms. 

There is 24-hours security by surveillance cameras to provide a safe stay for all the residents. Also, for student safety, there is a medical emergency section. The dining arrangements offer veg and non-veg meals, not included in the rent price. The annual rent is around €1,600.

Students who prefer to live in private accommodation in Tbilisi can rent a 1-bedroom flat for around €300 in the city centre. Other expenses like utilities, food, and leisure time will cost you no more than €300 based on your living standards.

Term Dates

The academic year has 2 terms – autumn and spring. Each semester has 20 weeks of classes and finishes with an examination period. The academic year also includes days off during the holidays.
