Specialist Dental Services

Prosthodontics (Dentures, Veneers, Crowns, Bridges and Implants)
When teeth are weakened by large fillings or have undergone root canal treatment, porcelain crowns and bridges are the best way to protect the teeth and keep them functioning well.

Missing teeth make it harder to enjoy food, are unsightly and can cause problems with the remaining teeth. They can be replaced with removable dentures or non-removable dental bridges and implants that are closest in look and feel to natural teeth.

Dental veneers may also be applied to cover discolourations or unsightly marks on the front teeth, creating a bright and white smile.

Endodontics (Root Canal Treatment)
When deep cavities cause an untreatable infection affecting the nerves and blood vessels within a tooth, you may suffer from severe toothache. Even after the pain subsides, a long-term infection around the roots of the teeth can persist and cause occasional pain and swelling.

Controlling the infection and filling the empty root canals of dead or dying teeth prevents the build-up of bacteria.

Periodontics (Gum Treatment)

Almost everyone will have a mild form of gum disease known as gingivitis. Without good oral hygiene, this may progress to a more serious form of gum disease known as periodontitis. Over time, periodontitis destroys the bone and other tissues holding each tooth firmly in place.

Hence, practising good oral hygiene and removing dental plaque and tartar to maintain good oral health is the essential work of our gum treatment specialists.

Dental Orthodontics (Braces)

Everyone appreciates a bright smile formed by a neat row of healthy teeth. Braces help to straighten crooked teeth, close unsightly gaps, correctly position teeth that are protruding and help improve one’s bite.

A good time to screen children to ensure their adult teeth are coming through properly is at the age of eight years and the most common and suitable age to start dental orthodontics treatment is around 12 years old.

Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (Wisdom Tooth Surgery, Dental Implants, Jaw Surgery, Trauma Management, Cleft Lip and Palate, and Oral Cancer)
When wisdom teeth grow in the wrong direction and get stuck, the food and plaque trapped in the spaces around them can cause infection resulting in severe pain, gum disease and caries (tooth decay or cavities) in the surrounding tissues.

Removing them without harming the nerves, teeth and other structures next to them is the work of our oral and maxillofacial surgery specialists. Our surgeons are also trained to manage disease or injury to the hard and soft tissues of the mouth.
