About the Author

Dale Dubin, M.D. wrote this textbook. He is a renowned US plastic surgeon and has published several famous books in cardiology.

This book makes significant efforts to include high performance and regularly validated concepts that make learning EKG simple and enjoyable. Each EKG comes with a title that describes the idea underlying the image.

In 1972, the Rapid Explanation of EKGs, a best-selling medical student, and resident textbook, was written by Dubin in medicine in Tampa, Florida, and acquired fame in the medical world. Therein, Dubin takes a simplified fill in the blank style to show the foundations of electrocardiogram interpreting.

In the fiftieth print, he made an offer in the copyright notice to give away his gorgeous Ford Thunderbird 1965 car, to anybody who read the letter and replied. Of 60 000 copies, only 5 readers saw and replied and the car was supplied to the winner by Dubin’s own daughter (selected randomly).
